Dynamis presents overview of Belgium’s Incident and Crisis Management System (ICMS) at ITEC 2017

Dynamis’ Corporate Vice President, Tim Mahoney, was asked to provide an overview of our current work supporting Belgium’s incident management efforts at ITEC 2017 this week in Rotterdam. ITEC is an annual forum for representatives from the military, industry and academia to connect and share knowledge with the international training, education and simulation sectors.

Tim was asked to participate in a panel called Humanitarian Response Training from the Emergency Management Viewpoint, introducing ITEC participants to our role in the development of Belgium’s National Incident Management System. Currently, Dynamis, in collaboration with the Crisis & Emergency Management Centre (CEMAC), is providing a custom, nation-wide information system (based upon Dynamis’ COBRA platform) for the Belgian Interior Ministry. The “Incident & Crisis Management System,” (ICMS) went live on 1 January 2017 and is a secure national web-based platform for managing data and information for collaborative crisis management. ICMS serves as a national security network that allows users to draw up contingency plans and work together during an emergency through various media and platforms, including the sharing of maps, combined logs, tracking the deployment of the emergency services and resources.

ITEC presents a unique overview of the industry’s latest innovations, providing visitors with a platform to discuss developments in this evolving market.

Dynamis’ involvement in innovative emergency management techniques is highlighted in Monch Publishing.
