Dynamis Acquires DGI’s Emergency and Security Management Solutions
Dynamis, Inc. announced today that it acquired Defense Group Inc. (DGI) subsidiary Emergency & Security Management Solutions (ESMS), including the COBRA integrated emergency and security management software suite. The acquisition accelerates Dynamis’ growth domestically and internationally as Dynamis continues to deliver practical technology solutions to the federal government and commercial customers.
“DGI’s Emergency & Security Management Solutions has grown into one of the leading providers for enterprise emergency and security management software solutions, making them an ideal addition to our business,” said Dynamis CEO, John Milam. “This acquisition enables us to better serve our emergency and security management customers, including the Homeland Security and Defense departments, and we are excited about the new growth opportunities this will create for our company.”
“Acquiring ESMS’s skill sets and adding their highly qualified personnel to our roster represents an important strategic step forward for Dynamis,” said John Braun, Dynamis president and chairman. “With seven ongoing IT contracts and IT tasking in 14 current projects, our ability now to build out a comprehensive, fully matrixed IT division adds value to the solutions our customers need.”
“Joining the Dynamis family presents myriad new opportunities for the company and for our customers,” said Brad Gardner, former ESMS vice president who now leads Dynamis’ IT division. “Dynamis is now in position to reach a broader set of customers in new markets and enhance its technology offerings in its existing relationships.”
